S Threads Clothing is one of a kind, flattering, comfortable, and best of all great for the earth! I rescue second-hand materials and refashion clothing into new, unique creations.
More than 90% of clothing is thrown out before the end of its useful life. I inspect pieces for flaws and capture the life left in them. They are reborn with new patterns and fashionable details. Seams are secured with professional stitching. My newly-recycled fashion pieces are relabeled with an S Threads brand and size label. I base all my sizes on measurements from a basic US size chart as follows:
Size Bust size Waist size
XS 30-32 24-26
Small 32-35 26-29
Medium 35-38 29-32
Large 38-42 32-35
XL 42-45 35-37.5
2X 45-48 37.5-40
3X 48-51 40-42.5
4X 51-54 42.5-45
I take care in my designs, and care should be taken in washing your new garment. All sweaters should be washed on gentle cycle and laid flat to dry. If you have any questions please feel free to message me!

One of my first customers, Lynda has had me redesign a whole wardrobe full of gorgeous one of a kind pieces!
Erin bought the skirt first, then asked me to create a matching top! It was even better than I could have imagined seeing them worn together!
Jerry has bought several designs off me, and shares all of my posts because she wants to show off my new creations!

In 2011 I opened an Etsy shop, my first online shop experience. I sold handbags, embroidered towels, aprons, and scrub tops. I didn’t start dabbling in Upcycled designs till 2015.
October of 2017 I decided to try my hand at an outdoor vendor event called Applefest in Franklin, Pa. My customers gave me so much encouragement! For the first time since I began sewing, I truly felt like it was something I could actually succeed at.
In June of 2018, I took the plunge and finally turned my passion into a full time business. I took a course in business management & opened up a brick and mortar store! The store had been my dream, and I thought I was finally living it. Unfortunately, overhead costs through COVID closures were more than I could bear, not to mention the fact that managing the store took away so much of my creative sewing time!
In late 2020, I closed the store and moved to Charleston, SC so that I could attend outdoor events all year round while still finding time to sew!
You can find me at the Charleston City Market & at craft shows in various cities. Follow my FB or IG to find out for sure where I’ll be!
I love being able to make clothing that inspires happiness. I take pride in being able to save material from being thrown in a landfill while doing it!
