S Threads Clothing is one of a kind, flattering, comfortable, and best of all great for the earth! I rescue second-hand materials and refashion clothing into new, unique creations.
More than 90% of clothing is thrown out before the end of its useful life. I inspect pieces for flaws and capture the life left in them. They are reborn with new patterns and fashionable details. Seams are secured with professional stitching. My newly-recycled fashion pieces are relabeled with an S Threads brand and size label. I base all my sizes on measurements from a basic US size chart as follows:
Size Bust size Waist size
XS 30-32 24-26
Small 32-35 26-29
Med. 35-38 29-32
Large 38-42 32-35
XL 42-45 35-37.5
2X 45-48 37.5-40
3X 48-51 40-42.5
4X 51-54 42.5-45
I take care in my designs, and care should be taken in washing your new garment. All sweaters should be washed on gentle cycle and laid flat to dry. If you have any questions please feel free to message me!

Wow, I love these creations! I purchased a dress a few years ago at a fall festival and was so impressed. Shannon's work is flattering, comfortable, & artistic. I have since bought three more pieces and receive so many compliments. Much love!
Fabulous purchase. I love it. Great work & high quality & care in all the details. I even added to my favorite shops. Thank you!!!!
I have been sewing since I was in grade school, working on projects for myself, friends, and family. I made fabric handbags, hair scrunchies, and designed Halloween costumes.
In 2011, I graduated as a Certified Medical Administrative Specialist, and for years worked in the medical field, keeping sewing as a hobby. I made scrub uniforms for myself and my co-workers. I studied patterns to make dresses & purses. I bought clothing at thrift stores to take them apart and study how they were put together. After working 10-14 hour days, I’d come home & sew till I passed out.
In June of 2018, I took the plunge and finally turned my passion into a full time business. I took a course in business management & now have a beautiful boutique to be proud of!
I love being able to make clothing that makes people comfortable and happy. I take pride in being able to save material from being thrown in a landfill while doing it!
